THE SCHNEIDER SISTERS

Originally half of the Schneider Sisters (with Rita) and mother of Melinda, Mary is renowned as "Australia's Queen of Yodelling". She is an international entertainer, songwriter and recording artist and winner of five Mo Awards. Famous for her brilliant yodelling records which have achieved gold and platinum status, her recording, Yodelling The Classics, has been released successfully in the Australia, USA and and now the world. Mary has appeared on many top TV shows throughout the USA, and in 2000 she made 4 trips to Germany and Switzerland to star on TV.
Half of the legendary Schneider Sisters (with Mary), Rita went solo in 1972. Since her retirement from the Channel 7 Network, she has written and released original Music Books with Cassettes, through her own company Coo-ee Music, following this with her comedy CD, Rita Raves On! in 1999. For that album Rita received four songwriting awards, including the TSA Country Comedy/Novelty Song of the Year in Tamworth in January 2000. Rita recently released her second comedy CD, Nutty as a Fruitcake!, which has received rave media reviews.
