REX DALLAS
Inducted January 2000

Born in Wallerawang NSW, the coal mining town of his boyhood, Rex has been performing for more than 40 years and is renowned for his versatile vocal ability. He has toured Australia with his own travelling show and New Zealand on many occasions. A four times Golden Guitar Winner, Rex has the distinction of winning Best Male Vocal for his yodelling, the only artist to date to do so with a yodelling song. In recent years, Rex has been taking things a bit quieter but still performs occasionally. Rex has recorded for all the major record companies in his career but now has his own label Briar Records and theme park in Moonbi just outside Tamworth.
